Hemsby Broads Rescue Assists Stricken Boat Near Brundall
Humber Coastguard called in Hemsby Broads Rescue on Wednesday afternoon after a boat encountered engine trouble near Brundall.
Launching from Cantley shortly after 4pm, the Broads lifeboat crew quickly reached the vessel. On arrival, they boarded the boat to check on the wellbeing of a woman and her dog, ensuring both were safe and comfortable.
Following a series of onboard safety checks, the crew managed to restart the engine. They then carefully navigated the boat back into the main river flow and escorted it to a private mooring, where they handed over to the Winterton Coastguard team.
