Heavy duty windlass formerly fitted to a work boat.
I bought it for my sailboat but the cleat is a little too high for the jib sail.
13 inches in height.
A brilliantly engineered piece of kit.
Dual ratio action so drums turn on each stroke.
Inner workings all serviced.
Clutch fitted to chain gypsy.
Designed so that all inner workings can be accessed through aluminium panels.
Unit is 5 inches wide on the box section but including the drums it is 15 inches.
Length 16 inches.
