Norfolk Broads Forum

I came across this photo on social media recently and credit to the original poster.
The thought that comes to me is this suffering, is it necessary?
Fishing on the Norfolk Broads is not a sport, it is a sociopathic blood sport.
If this was any other creatures, it would have been banned overnight.
The amount of pain this bloodsport causes for fish and other wildlife is horrendous, not too mention the harm it does to boats too.
It's time to call it a day on the Norfolk Broads and leave the wildlife in peace.
If the fish were eaten it would make sense but just to fish for the sake of fishing is in my mind completely bonkers.
