Dead Sheep In The River

I was shocked to see several dead animals floating in the River Bure yesterday coming up to Acle Bridge from the northern rivers.
I passed at least three heavily mutilated animals to the point where I was initially unsure what animals they were.
I am sure many animals fall into the rivers each year but I thought it was particularly odd that there were several in the exact same area
