Installing Sta Lock Fitting To Roller Furling Mainstay On Sailboat

Today I am tackling some challenging weather conditions whilst working on the roller furling rigging of my sailboat. The snow and freezing temperatures are making the task even more difficult.

I have a friend Paul who provided me with the necessary tools and expertise for the job. Dealing with the Sta-Lock mechanism and the stainless steel thread can be tricky.

Taking photos along the way and having access to a workbench vice are excellent tips for anyone attempting a similar task. It's always helpful to document the process, especially when there are many small components involved.
