Horstead Mill & Coltishall Lock

Post by Dances With Otters » February 4th, 2018, 6:52 pm

Only took me nearly four years but finally found Horstead Mill and Coltishall Lock. Definitely worth a visit. Easiest way to find it is on the river. Alternatively, walk to Coltishall go under the road river bridge and turn left or walk over bridge and turn left at Recruiting Sergeant Pub down Mill Lane or Road, it's one of the two. These are before and after photos just in case you don't immediately recognise them as one of the same.

It has changed a lot since the first picture. You did well to take your picture from the same spot.

Totally by chance. I had no idea what it used to look like when I got there so I Googled it later as I could not figure out how it was a lock, very surprised indeed.
