The Norfolk Broads Is In Its True Natural State

Post by Dances With Otters » November 1st, 2018, 2:57 pm

I just had a cruise down the River Ant to Stalham in the rain and not a hire boat in sight. :D
It was serene, it was beautiful, and I had a solitary kingfisher leading the way for several minutes until he got bored and flew into the bushes. :o
Immediately replaced by a solo commorant sitting on a dead tree clearly negotiating whether to stay, or do a bunk....amazing place.
What an amazing time of year and a time when you get to see the Norfolk Broads without all the dodgems.
Loving it.
;)

That's because Richo's last day that the boats are supposed to be returned was Thursday, they have now stopped hiring until March👍

I went passed yesterday afternoon and saw all the boats moored up two/three abreast. I sighed with relief and a smile wrapped around my face with an inner .......yeeeeeeees :D It's Broads time!

Yes we saw them moored as we'll, if I hadn't have moved moorings we would have not got our boat back in to our original mooring as they are 2 abreast all the way down the bank side, so glad we moved to Broads Edge and it is slightly cheaper to if you are not on electric 👍
