We all know wood looks the best for a rubbing strake.
However it's a mega pain in the transom as it requires varnishing all the time.
I decided to go for D section rubber as my new hire boat defence system.

Just what I wanted to see,thanks for posting, my wood strake is getting a bit tired and it would be beneficial to replace it with that which you have shown, and fortunately I have a perfect line to follow, making it much easier than you found when lining it all up.
