Think I could get through there today.
Watched a woman trying to row through against the flow, quite hilarious really but fair play for trying. :D

Apparently the height inside the pilot's shack is 9 inches in difference. Now I am confused by such a disparity. Unconfirmed of course but probable.

I always go by the river pilots gauge in the shed we used to go through quite regularly with Bolero its airdraft was 6'2"
