Vinyl Wrapping Boats

Post by Miles » November 2nd, 2018, 5:28 pm

Many may have heard of cars being vinyl wrapped but I see that boats have it done too.
With the sheer cost in time, money and labour, surely vinyl wrapping boats must be an excellent idea on the boats of the Broads. A hull can be done in a day for starters, and when you compare that with gel coat, or paint, I wonder why anybody bothers with paint anymore.
Painting boats sucks.

With the use of a rubber spreader and hot air, cars and boats are covered in a vinyl film.
You may have noticed London cabs and buses with such vinyl covered in adverts.
Often see it on Aston Martins and Porshes too,

Richos have a vinyl wrapped boat that looks like a pirate ship, not quite the Black Pig bit the kids like it
A boat makes a big hole in the water in to which you throw money
