£9,000 Of Batteries Stolen.

Post by Miles » March 2nd, 2020, 10:20 am

I am totally confused by this article about two boats being robbed for batteries totalling £9,000.
How can that be so?
Surely if these are electric boats then they can not have more than 6? even 10 would be approximately a thousand pounds.
So where is the value of £9,000 coming from as the article stipulate just three batteries were stolen? Are they some super lithium batteries or something?
Any ideas? :?

If they were lithium they cost about £1000 per battery
A boat makes a big hole in the water in to which you throw money
