Broads Authority Gets MarNIS Software

Post by Miles » April 9th, 2019, 7:57 am

“The Broads Authority is committed to running a safe, welcoming and efficient marine operation which caters for the needs of the local community, visitors and the environment,” commented Steve Birtles, Head of Safety Management.
MarNIS is software currently installed in more than 40 ports, helping them meet and exceed industry standards on risk management.

The Broads Authority, has a statutory duty as a harbour and navigation authority to manage its marine and navigational risks. The MarNIS Toolkit will allow marine risk assessments to be stored and linked to accident and incident records, providing for reflective review.

Leading marine consultancy ABPmer has been commissioned by the Broads Authority to provide a MarNIS Port Assessment Toolkit for managing marine risk.
