Well Stalham Council didn't get tough and the staithe continues to be blocked by two overstayed boats for the third year in a row.
I wonder if there is going to be any chance of being able to moor at the staithe this season to get some shopping or are the overstayed boats going to hog the moorings for yet another year.
There is nothing more irritating than attempting to moor at the staithe and you can't because two boats have selfishly moored there for three years.
Well I went in late yesterday afternoon and managed to squeeze my bow in at the very end.
.
The wooden overstaying boat called Ozzy has a half sunken orange Mayland boat double moored next to it which was making my exit difficult.
I asked the woman on the boat if she could move it but she blatantly refused. I suggested that I move it for her but she then insisted I put it back afterwards. How she expects that to happen is beyond me?
Anyway when I am pulling my boat out by hand, this woman appears again all stroppy
I asked her if she was aware of the level of inconvenience their three boats are causing other boaters and she started foaming at the mouth and started shouting a load of nonsense about not being the Broads Authority.
I told her she was scum and that for the past three years other boaters have not been able to moor here.
