I have just stumbled across this hire boat mooring instructional video on YouTube.
This has been produced by a hire boat company on the Norfolk Broads and I have no interest in mentioning the name of the company but I am shocked by what is being instructed in the video.
Firstly, I don't actually feel it offers any instructional value to any boater.
Secondly, who on Earth would suggest to someone at the helm of a boat to drift in to a mooring in neutral?
Is that not a recipe for disaster?
The boat is out of control in neutral.
It is like cruising into a parking space in a car in neutral without brakes.
