Re: Stalham Staithe To Be Closed Very Soon
Good that work is going to going on there. Potter Heigham has been a bit of a headache just recently for road users as coming from Gt Yarmouth the signs give you the impression that you have to go further on before turning left towards Potter. Re: The Krays & The Broad's Canal
To discover the real history of the rivers and the lives that people had in the past is far more interesting than buzzing along in a bling boat drinking wine and looking at a few reeds and waiting for the next pub. So much has gone before and to the present days real loss.

Re: A Photo But What Does It Tell You?
May be if people saw exactly what is happening as you have pointed out , they would be a little bit more considerate and in less of a hurry to get from A to B. Thanks for the explanation.

It is so cold.
It is so cold.

Re: Dissolution of the Monasteries
We have visited many many churches over the years all over the UK and found the same that faces have been scratched out. Such a shame.

Re: BUI On Boats?
Very wise words in the video. As you say when you are moored up ok but even then you have to have your wits about you. Slips and falls are easy to happen and spoil a holiday if you are not careful. Enjoy yourself and I am the first to open a bottle of wine but do be careful.

I guess we were lucky, saying that hubby used to have forty fits and was always telling boats to slow down. I have recalled before the only genuine accident ever seen there...

Re: Bridge heights
On a lighter note - it give new meaning to the word 'duck'. I have always been told that whatever the bridge height says it always errs on the side of caution and gives you a little bit more room , not less.
