When The Wind Blows

Very frustrating time at the moment with boat works. So much to do and just can't really get anything significant done in this weather. Gales lasting over a week and they were so nasty I am surprised there are any boats left. Managed to get some sanding done and a tiny bit that was ready for antifou...

National Dodgem Park

With Spring on the horizon now and one of the mildest winters coming to a closure..... hopefully, I can't help but wonder what the future holds for the Norfolk Broads. With fly-tipped sunken boats remaining. Perpetual overstayers free to abuse and continue to block navigation with impunity. D...

Re: Storm Dennis

The weather reports were far from accurate last night. Winds were not subsiding but continued aggressive throughout the night.

Re: Stalham Council Getting Tough

Well I went in late yesterday afternoon and managed to squeeze my bow in at the very end. . The wooden overstaying boat called Ozzy has a half sunken orange Mayland boat double moored next to it which was making my exit difficult. I asked the woman on the boat if she could move it but she blatantly ...

Could not get in today.
Bit unfair this, had to walk from Sutton to get some shopping as overstaying still continues.

Re: Stalham Council Getting Tough

Well Stalham Council didn't get tough and the staithe continues to be blocked by two overstayed boats for the third year in a row. I wonder if there is going to be any chance of being able to moor at the staithe this season to get some shopping or are the overstayed boats going to hog the moorings f...
