Do You Need A Short Or Long Shaft Outboard Engine?

Post by Dances With Otters » May 30th, 2018, 5:22 pm

If you are unsure as to whether your vessel requires a short or long shaft outboard? Then read on.
First things first.
There are three sizes, however,

If your boat has a Transom Height 15"-16" you will need short shaft and if it is 20"-21" you will require long shaft engine.
If it is any longer 25" then you will need the extra long shaft size. :D
