£150,000 to restore the Norfolk Walsham canal in 1962.

I see a crowdfunding opportunity here but it is through private land.

Having found four of the six locks on the North Walsham Canal, I felt compelled to find the last two. Namely, locks five and six. Now, the location is straight forward but access seems to be an issue at this stage.
Can't make anything out on Google Earth but think it is under some trees.
The only one photo I have found is one of the Fabian locks but just look how messed up it was almost a hundred years ago in 1928.
It's no wonder it's not standing out.

It's a lot worse than I thought at Wayford end. Shame I was going to use the dinghy.

Funny that, I just watched it. The very last ones are in a mess.

Here are some more of Swafield locks.
Hopefully, more to come if we can get access.
