How To Make A Mast Tabernacle.

Post by Dances With Otters » April 15th, 2018, 8:32 pm

I am currently in the process of designing a new tabernacle for another sailing boat.
Fortunately, the chap who kindly made my wood burner is on the case.
There is so little on the interweb about these essential mast tools, that I thought it was only sportsmanlike to share the process with readers.
As this is the early stages and measurements and plans are still being taken, I will share some designs that I have found recently.
Interestingly, there is also an overlooked issue of galvanic corrosion between two metals but I suspect at sea this is more of an issue.
