What A Load Of Rubbish

Post by High Seas » March 21st, 2018, 5:56 pm

Such a nice day today so thought I would go for a spin in my dinghy, after all I 'love me tender'.
Told you I would use that lol. :D
Sadly, within less than 3/4minutes rowing I began to notice the rubbish in the banks.
I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say that the Broads was never like this when the bins were here. There were the odd beer bottles and beer cans but not all this crap.
Bear in mind too, that this is before the season has even started.
What is it going to take to get the powers that be to sit up and notice?

Discussing,
But in every Day life you will see the few spoiling it for others. You will get those who won't use a bin if it means putting there self out. The idea of taking rubbish home or holding on until finding a Place to dispose of it wouldn't come into consideration. Yesterday bins have gone but unfortunately a certain percentage of people wouldn't use them any way...

Well the Council have to save money somehow dont they (I am being sarcastic here). I hope that Norfolk County Council have a copy of all these photos. It is as has been said an utter disgrace. The trouble is, as I call them, red wine decisions are made at meetings and seem a good idea at the time but in reality they dont work. We need our waste bins on the Broads. Crumbs we have spent the last 25 years educating Jo and Frank (not real folk) to put their rubbish in the blasted bins and now they take the bins away.
