It might be very quiet on the rivers now, but in true fashion, when we arrived at the BA moorings at Stokesby, (which at best copes with two 35ft boats)
Lo and behold, a hire boat moored slap bang in the middle leaving no room either end for any other boats!. We knocked on the boat but there was no one aboard so we had to temporarily moor at a very awkward angle and go to the pub to find them. We politely said that we needed them to move up a bit so we could tie alongside properly.
Unbelievably, the response was 'yes, they would be happy if WE moved it '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't make it up...........

I have moved two boats in four seasons. I hate to do it as it pisses me off if people touch mine. I have even had people moving mine whilst I was in the bunk, no knock just started moving it. Lol.
If they obstruct the mooring then that is different.
