Lord Nelson

One of my favorite pieces of trivia I like to tell guests when passing through Barton broad is that Lord Nelson himself learned to sail on it as a boy.

It gives people confidence to start learning to sail too as we all start at the same place.

Did you know that Lord Nelson always arrived at any meeting 15 minutes early because he hated being late? He is quoted to have said
" consequently I spend a lot of time waiting for other people!"

I do the same, always early never late. Hate it when people never show up on time! I also spend a lot of my time waiting around for other people!
Let the world flood! I live on a boat!
