Oil Companies Don't Want Electric Boats?

Post by High Seas » December 22nd, 2017, 11:02 pm

Any other moorings around the world have electric posts at most moorings.
If the Broads was to go electric, somebody somewhere would lose a lot of revenue.
Just like with cars.

Yeah but, do we have enough power generating capacity in this country if we all went electric? I remember last year when I was working for local landowner that large companies were being advised to shut their factories down for two weeks over Christmas so that power would be available for domestic use! If we all went electric everyone would come home from work at half 5 and plug electric car into charger and the power drain would be huge! Oil companies would be burning their own product to generate electricity so they will still win and get their money! Or maybe I'm just cynical!
Let the world flood! I live on a boat!
