The food is fine and large portion sizes if perhaps a little sore on prices for what's on offer.

A lot of folks started moaning about the trees been cut down but I think people just respond that way now with regards to trees as they think any tree being cut down is wrong but they clearly have not heard of coppicing.
Having removed the trees he now has made the whole establishment clearly visible by passing motorists which is essential for the business survival as it is out in the sticks a bit. Trees can be planted back, businesses can not.
They have done the roof and replaced the windows so a lot of dosh has been spent to regenerate it.
It is a tricky one with regards to pubs on the Norfolk Broads and everywhere else for that matter as a pint just costs so bloody much money. The real attraction now is to go and have some grub instead.
I have always liked the pub at Sutton, it has a lot of charm.

I had a munch last night and was very happy. Food was good quality produce, friendly attractive barmaid and if anything was a negative I would say it was a tad expensive but not excessively.
Great pub.

The attic staithe hotel is one of my favourites, had lunch on Christmas Day there last year! Also had lots of pub lunches there this year, ham egg and chip was spot on! Homemade chips are best on broads imho. Stopped there in November, was great apart from all the gnomes fishing on the green.
Going there for a meal Christmas Eve, I’ll report back 👍

I moored there last night. It's like a mud bath but it's one of the only places I know that keeps the water on in the winter.

You'll be lucky, Pelican and all his boats are there.
