Not much down on the southern broads, about an inch. The ducks look a bit miserble, but aprt from that, the wife thinks it looks pretty.
Miles, your wood burner must be lovely on days like this. At least we have a nice reassuring 'tick tick tick' from the eberspacher to go with the 'tick tick tick ' of the water droplets as the snow melts fron the wheelhouse roof.

My wood stove is awesome. I try not to have it on in the day, as I am always farting about fixing or breaking stuff.
Just before twilight I fire her up and the boat fills with warm dry air.
Then if I have been a good boy, I treat myself to toasted hot cross buns on the stove or even just good old fashioned toast. I absolutely love it. :D

That's more than we have up here in Lincs we were back at our boat Saturday and that east wind was bloody raw apart from that it was a nice day, pity about the drive home when a 70 year old pulled out of a side road in front of us leaving me no were to go except into a cottage, which left us with a trip to the Norfolk & Norwich hospital
A boat makes a big hole in the water in to which you throw money

2 inches of snow on my boat this morning at Brundall, there was one more heavy snow shower around 11am and then lovely sunshine for the rest of the day.

A couple of inches here in Rotherham Rayburn Royal is givings its all! the oven is at 250 degrees c so all is well in my world. My big boat is fully insulated and double glazed along with the wheelhouse, senseless being cold whilst cruising in the winter, the engine heats the radiators as well as the cauliflower so its very well set up for winter cruising.

Nearly six inches sitting on the pontoon down here, not that deep in the scheme of things, but a good enough reason not to go out today.
Nice and warm, the temporary double glazing and the ventilation system moving the warm air around the boat is doing the trick.
Ice all around the boat and the ducks are looking miserable.
