Wow! Wayford Looks Awesome

Post by High Seas » December 21st, 2017, 12:57 pm

I went passed Wayford this morning and I know the foggy photos don't do it justice but what an improvement.
The place looks amazing.

What was there before Miles, I am not sure what we are looking at. Is this prior to the bridge.

Yes that is right. There used to be a boatyard there full to the brim of old wrecks.
Just before the bridge with Bank Boats on the other side.
All of the wrecks have gone and the whole sight has been cleared up. It looks like a proper DIY boat yard now rather than a boat graveyard before.

Wonder what they charge for a mooring.... It actually looks like a nice place to be now!
Let the world flood! I live on a boat!

Moorings, according to the new website, with power and water handy, £18 per foot for 6 months plus VAT. Storage ashore £13 and says for " any sized boat" they also don't mind DIY'ers. That's probably the cheapest moorings around and now it's tidy, it won't be like living in a boat breakers yard!
