Re: A Common Sense Issue With Water & Electric?

Totally agree there’s way too much paper stamping and meetings for my liking, and I expect for most toll payers I imagine. They probably think that they are impressing us with all the planning etc, I think in reality there’s too many trying to justify their jobs and wages. As for the costs, to have ...

Re: A Common Sense Issue With Water & Electric?

Especially when there's overstayers camping next to them!
Shame they can't put water and leccy on further down by the long stretch of moorings the other side of the parish moorings.

Re: Thanks For The B.A. Forum Category Suggestion

Hi again, sorry, just another point in tide times. Can it be arranged for next years tide booklet, for the low/high tide times be recalculated to be relevant at the Yacht station rather than at Gorleston? It seems crazy to have the datum set at Gorleston, then have to add an hour in for the gyys and...

Broads Authority Facebook Tide Tables

(Relocated by admin to create separate new topic) :D I have a question, well as much a suggestion as a question. The BA post daily on Facebook, low tide times at the gyys for the day they are posted. I think this is a great service and very handy, especially as if the tides are held back, or any ot...

Re: PMR radio versus CB radio

I agree these new drones are great, although I’m not keen on them flying over my boat when I’m moored up.
Some of the pmr radios have a 3-6 km range now a days. And it seems to be used for instant broads news(gossip  ) but useful too

Re: Broads Authority Clamping Down On Overstayers

i think even the BA will be too embarrassed not to move him on this time. If they don’t I think a representative from the BA need to explain why he gets special treatment, I’m pretty sure he’ll be paying his toll at the same rate as the rest of us?

PMR radio versus CB radio

Hi does anyone on here use pmr radio on their boats? If so, what make do you use, is it any good? What kind of range do you get? I'm thinking about getting one, as there seems to be an increasing number being used on the broads. Partly due to their cheapness and the lack of restrictions on them , in...

Re: Dog shade

Thanks for that, after research, we’re opting for a fishing type cover like some fishermen use 👍
