Worth bearing in mind Hadyn Thirtle is the Norfolk County Councillor for the area and was the County Council appointee to the Broads Authority but is about to be replaced. He was also the District councillor on Great Yarmouth District Council for the area till he lost his seat at the recent election...

At least broadcaster does have a feature on Rubbish this year though the list of sites is somewhat confusing to those who do not know the locations - it makes Reedham look as though only hire boats can use the bins though that really means Sandersons Yard the bins on the quay are provided by Broadla...

Not sure how the Chair of the BA can be meeting the Leaders of NCC & the Districts when he is a member of two of them NCC & GYBC indeed he is the NCC rep on BA?

The hire fleet peaked in 1986-7 at over 2000 it is now under 1000 though the number of private craft has gone up.
