Had another Email from the BA, who apologised for any inconvenience caused and said "they would advise their Rangers to be aware and keep a watching brief and to take suitable action if the situation arises again. :D ;)

I have since heard again from the BA, who have said they will keep a close eye on the situation and take the appropriate action.. It remains to be seen!!! :evil: :o

It was the Berney Mill end of the Moorings, between the two 24 hour BA signs, so most certainly a BA Mooring. :o :? :lol: :twisted:

I contacted the BA, who stated " no one is allowed to reserve a space on a BA Mooring, and to disregard any sign to the contrary, and if the Rangers see it they will remove the sign". Whether this holds true remains to be seen as the rangers on the "Spirit of Breydon went pass twice. Brown envelope ...

The difference being that the "Pelican" on the Southern Broads is a very nice boat but, still should not be able to actually reserve a mooring rather than just squat there as the Northern version of the "Pelican does. :evil: :twisted: :roll: :cry:

HI Miles. Re You mooring at Burgh Castle to wait for the tides.. The moorings have been have been scrapped!!!! so nowhere to moor to wait. Another resounding success in the annals of negotiation by the BA to lose yet another Mooring. We were down there just over a week ago and were very disappointed...

All very well but where do you buy the paint conditioner and do we have time to rub down paint work to a 2400 finish? It looks and sounds good but is it practical? :)
