Re: First Whack Of The Season
I do hope the hire companies read the comments on here. No doubt on paper their SOP's dictate clear instructions will be given to their customers, and in the eyes of the insurers etc, the box is ticked.( Arses covered.) In reality, if the figures for this weekend are true, the logistics and the man ...

Re: First Whack Of The Season
Well that didn't take long!
You'd think you'd be safe after dark at least! What were they thinking???
I hope you reported the incident.
In the USA, they report anyone who makes wash, let alone actual collisions.

Re: How Not To Be A Liveaboard.
Just a thought.......... Yes, there are one or two liveaboards who will leave rubbish and mess, and it paints the the rest with the same brush. It will ineviatabley produce headlines like 'liveabourds trash the broads!' etc. In some cases, the traditional methods for making people clean up after them...

Re: Dodgy Rigging From Norfolk Marine?

Re: Dinghy owners
A good quality inflatable will stand up to a lot of abuse. Go to a good chandlers and have a look at a few. Dont buy one from a camping shop..
