I doubt the BA will throw those sort of resources at the problem, they wouldn't want to pay for it! A thought though, yes, everyone knows there is a problem with hire boat behaviour, but do the authorities know the full extent? Yes, we report incidents and rule breaking, whether innocent or not, but...

We're with you all the way. We intend to report any collisions through the proper channels, eventually the statistics will be enough to force things to change.

In the USA, they report anyone who makes wash, let alone actual collisions.

Just a thought.......... Yes, there are one or two liveaboards who will leave rubbish and mess,and it paints the the rest with the same brush. It will ineviatabley produce headlines like 'liveabourds trash the broads!' etc. In some cases, the traditional methods for making people clean up after them...

The way it is now, I would most definitely not go to sea in any sort of wind. It has to be strong and reliable.

A good quality inflatable will stand up to a lot of abuse. Go to a good chandlers and have a look at a few. Dont buy one from a camping shop..
I've known plenty of dog owners who have never had any problems
